The 1st Call for Common Project Proposals of Interreg VI-A IPA III CBC “Greece-Albania 2021-2027” was successfully closed on 7 April 2025 at 17:00 pm Greek local time.
During the procedure and after the closure, the MA/JS received in total 68 project proposals with a total proposed budget of 77.858.794,41 EUR, which exceeds the Call budget ( 17.319.062,50 EUR ) by 4,5 times.
The allocation per Priority is as follows:
- Priority 1: Supporting transition to greener and more resilient cross-border regions
- 19 proposals
- Total budget: €21,452,477.59 (allocated budget: €7,558,437.50)
- Priority 2: Improving accessibility in the cross-border area
- 3 proposals
- Total budget: €4,226,438.94 (allocated budget: €3,448,125.00)
- Priority 3: Fostering sustainable cross-border economic and social development
- 46 proposals
- Total budget: €52,179,874.88 (allocated budget: €6,312,500.00)
