MINOR-MED project officially launches with kick-off meeting in Filiates

We are pleased to announce the formal launch of the implementation phase of the MINOR-MED (Minority Inclusive Medical Outreach for Remote Mountainous Areas in Greece and Albania) cross-border project.

The official kick-off meeting is scheduled for Friday, 11 September 2026, from 09:30 to 16:00 EEST. Hosted by Project Beneficiary “General Hospital at Filiates”, this hybrid event will take place at the Filiates Town Hall in Greece, welcoming both in-person and online participants.

The primary focus of this meeting is to clarify beneficiary responsibilities, confirm partner roles, and establish the coordination, financial and monitoring arrangements for the coming stages of the project implementation phase.

Agenda Highlights:

• The event will open with institutional greetings and an address on the local dimension of the project by the Mayor of Filiates.
• Following an overall project presentation by the Lead Beneficiary (Strategic Structure NSRF of Ministry of Health), project partners will outline their specific roles and scope of activities.
• The afternoon sessions will focus on operational steps, including procurement plans, contracting procedures and financial management.
• The meeting will conclude with a discussion on critical milestones, reporting obligations and planning for the next project meeting.
