Interreg VI-A IPA Greece–Albania 2021–2027 Programme would like to draw your attention to the Call for Visitors under the Border Regions Peer Exchange on Solving Border Obstacles.
The initiative, launched by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO) and Fundación CEER (FCEER), offers organisations active in cross-border cooperation the opportunity to take part in peer-exchange visits focused on practical solutions to real-life obstacles affecting border regions.
The programme will select 100 visitors from across Europe to participate in 10 exchange visits taking place between November 2026 and January 2027. Each visit is built around a real b-solutions case and will enable participants to learn directly from public authorities and stakeholders that have addressed legal or administrative barriers to cross-border cooperation.
The call is particularly relevant for organisations and institutions involved in European Territorial Cooperation, including:
-
National, regional and local authorities
-
Project beneficiaries and project partners
-
Universities and research centres
-
Development agencies
-
Chambers of commerce
-
Euroregions and European Groupings of Territorial Cooperation
-
Organisations active in cross-border cooperation and regional development
Selected participants will have the opportunity to exchange experience with peers from other European border regions, explore transferable solutions and develop new contacts and cooperation perspectives.
Financial support of up to €750, in the form of a lump sum, is available to help cover travel and accommodation costs for up to 50 of the highest-scoring applicants.
We strongly encourage interested beneficiaries, partners and stakeholders of the Interreg VI-A IPA Greece–Albania 2021–2027 Programmeto submit an application.
